ILC Conference 2009: Securing Rights to Land for Peace and Food Security

• Day 4: A day for ILC business
  The ILC business meeting took place on Day 4. Members the ILC Biennial Report, 2007-2009, presented to members was discussed and endorsed.

• Members voted to accept the Biennial Report.

  Interventions:

  The Secretariat reported on the Community Empowerment Facility

  Results of recent missions of evaluations of the ILC were presented by representatives of the World Bank and the European Union.

  Interventions

  Members discussed and agreed on a roadmap for the approval of the amended Constitution in the next 5-6 months and approved the membership contributions document

  Members received Nepalese gifts from CSRC and MODE, both Nepalese ILC CSO members and FECOFUN, an ILC partner

  Renewal of the composition of the 14-member Coalition Council New Council members elected are:

  JKPP (Kasmita Widodo), Indonesia CSRC Nepal (Jagat Basnet) KLA, Kenya (Odenda Lumumba)       ZLA, Zambia (Mundia Matongo) COCOCH, Honduras Marvin Ponce
