PAC - Partnership Africa Canada  

PAC is a coalition of Canadian and African NGOs working together on issues of human rights, human security and sustainable development. In collaboration with its members and other organizations, PAC undertakes research and policy dialogue initiatives on issues affecting Africa.

Weekly forums for social justice in Africa

To develop and articulate a pan-African voice on land and resource rights, policies and advocacy, and engage with other stakeholders at regional and international research and policy-making events.

Panos London stimulates informed and inclusive public debate around key development issues in order to foster sustainable development. They are working to promote an enabling media and communications environment worldwide.

Their aim is to ensure that the perspectives of the people whose lives are most affected by development (mainly the poor and marginalised) are included within decision-making and that decisions are subject to their scrutiny and debate.

Partnership Africa Canada works in partnership with organizations in Africa, Canada and internationally to build sustainable human development in Africa.

PDN represents a world-wide network of researchers, administrators and extension personnel interested in the issues of pastoralism and rangelands.

Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) is an umbrella term for a wide range of similar approaches and methodologies, including Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), Rapid Rural Appraisal (RRA), Participatory Learning Methods (PALM), Participatory Action Research (PAR), Farming Systems Research (FSR), Méthod Active de Recherche et de Planification Participative (MARP), and many others. The common theme to all these approaches is the full participation of people in the processes of learning about their needs and opportunities, and in the action required to address them.

The Programme for Land and Agrarian Studies (PLAAS) is a constituent unit of the University of the Western Cape's School of Government which was established in 1995. PLAAS is based in Cape Town, South Africa.

PCP fosters a more inclusive and collaborative society by promoting constructive conversations and relationships among those who have differing values and views. The overall objective is to develop new modes of communicating that lead to mutual understanding, respect and trust. this reduces the costly effects of conflict and creates new possibilities for change.
