A recent meeting with key stakeholders and the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives (MOALMC) established new relationships with the government of Nepal to start a new Multi-Stakeholder Platform to promote people-centred land governance, with more governmental leadership.
Indonesia CSOs Emphasize Commitment to Support Global Land Forum

Consortium for Agrarian Reform (KPA) of Indonesia organized a friendly gathering last week, on July 12, 2018 by inviting the CSOs, Peasant Unions, and KPA’s founding fathers. The gathering was intended to strengthen the bond between the CSOs toward the Global Land Forum 2018 which to be held in Indonesia on September this year.
17th session of the UNPFII: UNPFII Observes Land Issues in Bangladesh

The 17th session of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII) urged the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) to declare roadmap for implementation of the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Accord, to execute powers and functions of the CHT Regional Council and three Hill District Councils and to approve Rules of Business of the CHT Land Commission.
