On October 15th 2015, ILC members are celebrating the International Day of Rural Women across the globe. In Latin America, Africa and Asia, rallies, conferences, workshops and events have been organized to shine a spotlight on the important role women play in agricultural development. Together, ILC members have commited to work towards the realisation of people centred land governance through our ten commitments, with the fourth commitment giving particular attention to equal land rights for women.
