The Community Land Co-Learning Initiative was no ordinary workshop or training. It was about how to advance in the way forward to protect the community land and an opportunity to learn from experts across the world.
Following the expiration of the land acquisition and distribution (LAD) component of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform with Extension and Reforms (CARPER) in June 2014, the issuance of Notices of Coverage (NOCs) was stalled – leaving the remaining 600,000 hectares undistributed as of 2016.
