Mission & Vision:
CSRC’s mission is to empower land poor women and men and enable them to claim and exercise their basic rights, including right to land resources. To achieve the mission, CSRC implements programmes and projects aimed to build capacity of the rights holders (poor women and men), change and/or enact polices in favour of the land poor, develop new/alternative models of land reform, and create and mobilize change agents at the community level in favour of pro-land poor people. CSRC is a social based movement organization which works directly with the poor and excluded people in order to establish a just and equitable society by tapping the potentials and building a sustainable movement of tenants, landless farmers, Kamaiya, Haliya and other land-deprived men and women. CSRC focuses on land rights and social mobilization through the capacity building of deprived people of land rights. The vision is of a Nepali society where everyone enjoys a secure, free and dignified life.
