Mission & Vision:
COCOCH is a network of 10 farmers’ federations established in 1988. With its base group of more than 3,000 farmers’ groups and co-operatives, rural enterprises, rural women’s organizations, small agricultural producers comprising some 300,000 direct producers, COCOCH provides the structure that brings together the organizations of farmers and small producers of Honduras. We wish for the existence of united and strong peasantry, with better organizational structures, with capacity to propose and advocate for pro-poor access to productive assets and basic services. A vital instrument to that is the need for a comprehensive agrarian reform.
