ILC's country level work is implemented through its National Engagement Strategies (NES), where the ILC is setting-up and strengthening existing multi-stakeholder national land platforms and joint governance strategies in over 30 countries.
The ILC Secretariat is looking for a Programme Analyst to support overall coordination of these multi-stakeholder platforms (MSPs), from formulation to implementation stages.
S/he will work in close contact with a wide variety of actors involved in the MSPs, ranging from ILC members; civil society organisations to IGOs; government representatives; and the private sector. In particular s/he will work closely with FAO in the application of the VGGTs.
The right candidate will have strong strategic thinking and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual environment where team work, relationship building and collaboration is key. Moreover, s/he will be familiar with rural development and land governance issues, negotation and grant management and comfortable working within network dynamics, among other skills required.
