The Third ILC Global Assembly took place in Entebbe, Uganda from 24-27 April 2007, and was co-hosted by the Uganda Land Alliance. Approximately 120 participants from over 30 countries around the world, representing a broad range of organizations, including intergovernmental, civil society and farmers’ organizations and research institutions The International Land Coalition (ILC) is a global alliance of civil society and intergovernmental organizations working together to promote secure and equitable access to and control over land for poor men and women through advocacy, dialogue and capacity-building. The Uganda Land Alliance is a consortium of civil society organizations that advocates for fair land laws and policies that address the land rights of poor, disadvantaged and vulnerable groups and individuals in Uganda. |
