Abhiyan Nepal envisions a peaceful, happy, prosperous and self-dependent society in which every human being will be living a glorious, self-reliant and dignified life.

•    To facilitate to get access and control of the means and resources of production (especially natural resource like water, land and forest) and help improve the lifestyle of the individuals and groups that are devoid of basic rights.

•    Sensitizing, organizing and mobilizing the women, men and children of those class, community and regions which have been excluded from the development process and basic rights to realise their right to life with dignity.

•    To advocate and to bring to public debate to change or otherwise make them pro-people all the national and international policies, laws and structures which are discriminatory or which do not make positive effect to the lives of people and groups that are devoid of their basic rights.

•    Developing understanding and practice of democracy in the individuals and groups devoid of their basic rights and fulfilling their right to live quality life by ensuring good governance and effective services from the state structure.

•    Develop human rights culture in all sectors of the society by making the state mechanism accountable to ensure human rights of all the people

Activities

Abhiyan Nepal works with women; children; Dalits; minority groups and other people who are economically, socially and politically outside the mainstream; poor; ploughman farmers and landless people.
