  • GLTN (2008)
« Droit Islamique Foncière Et Innovation.»
    http://www.gltn.net

General approaches to tenure security rarely recognise the existence of principles to enforce land rights within Islamic law.   Because of this,  GLTN has launched a special initiative to develop and implement innovative and authentically Islamic instruments that are favourable to the poor, that integrate gender dimensions and that could be applied in various Islamic contexts.

  • GLTN (2008)
« Le Genre et Les Instruments Fonciers Innovants. »
    http://www.gltn.net/

The enforcement of women's property rights too often fail due to the lack of tenure instruments adapted to the realities of women's lives. In spite of continuous efforts on the part of those working for women's increased access to land, existing instruments that are favourable to the rights of women are seldom systematically studied. This short article, written in french, presents the goal of GLTN to systematically integrate gender into local land administration in a manner that is efficient, applicable in multiple contexts and affordable.
