Knowledge Management & Database of Good Practices
Buhlebenkosi, better known as Buhle, is an ILC Knowledge Management Consultant. She is currently working on ILC's Database of Good Practices and is responsible for writing toolkits and other ILC knowledge products.
Prior to joining the ILC, Buhle worked in private legal practice, and in academia, where she served as a research associate. She has a passion for generating knowledge on land corruption, transparency and accountability. She is also interested in mining regulations and land: particularly the need to balance mining interests against the rights of local communities, who are often poor and marginalised.
Buhle holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Rule of Law for Development from Loyola University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.
