Mission
IWMI’s mission is to improve the management of land and water resources for food, livelihoods and the environment. IWMI envisions "a water-secure world".
Objectives
The main objectives of IWMI are to generate and share knowledge to improve the management of water and land resources, to act as a broker to form effective research alliances among partners in the South and North and to actively promote the application of the knowledge it holds.
Constituencies
IWMI's constitencies include policy makers, development agencies, individual farmers and private sector organizations.
