IN WOMEN’S LAND RIGHTS IN BEIJING +30
ABOUT THE EVENT
The panel will present grassroots women leaders from different contexts and backgrounds who are actively involved in claiming and defending land rights and protecting their territories from internal and external threats. Women are vocal and committed, and their struggles are intersectional in the land sector, Which is often seen as male-dominated.
Join us as we take stock of what has been done on women's land rights over the past 30 years and identify concrete recommendations and visions from grassroots women and indigenous leaders for Beijing+30.
