Durante la semana del 24 al 28 de septiembre, en la sede de Naciones Unidas en Ginebra, sesionó la 64ª Reunión  del Comité de Derechos Económicos, Sociales y Culturales, donde el Estado argentino tuvo que presentar su accionar durante el ultimo período. La Fundación Plurales, en coalición con FundapazRedes Chaco y el apoyo de la ILC, presentaron el informe alternativo "Situación de los Derechos Ecomómicos, Sociales y Culturales de las Mujeres Rurales Argentinas del Gran Chaco y Puna", el cual logró un gran impacto en la inclusión de temas y recomendaciones en el pronunciamiento final del Comité para el Estado Argentino.

ILC Africa members celebrate World Food Day 2018

In recent years, efforts to reverse hunger in Africa have multiplied, but as the UN State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2017 shows, real progress is yet to follow.  Globally, 767 million people live in extreme poverty, half of them in sub-Saharan Africa. Across the continent, it is popular opinion that the African nations need to go beyond windy promises.
