Xhevat Lushi is a rural economic development expert with more than 22 years’ experience in integrated rural development programmes.
He has experience in designing legal framework conditions/policies and operational implementation of agri-rural, agro-environmental and natural resource management projects, including the EU integration processes (related to Chapter 11 of the acquis communautaire). He has managed and implemented donor-funded projects with CSOs, covering public policies, organizational development, and climate change and land management. He also has knowledge and direct experience in institutional development and capacity building of agricultural and rural institutions such as Government ministries (MARFD more specifically), rural organizations such as NGOs, business associations (cooperatives), Rural Development Network, APFOs and other mechanisms.
