Joining the team responsible for supporting National Engagement Strategies, Sara came to ILC in 2017 bringing with her experience and commitment working on Indigenous Peoples' issues and food sovereignty for organisations such as The Indigenous Partnership, SONIA and IFAD. She will be providing support specifically to the learning aspect of ILC’s country level work, as well as provide analysis of information and data, while engaging with members. She is a passionate traveller and loves cooking and riding her bike. She spends additional time volunteering in social services for the homeless, immigrants and refugee populations.
Sara holds a MA in Human Rights and Conflict Management from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Pisa, Italy, and MA in South Asian Studies from "L’Orientale” University, Naples, Italy.
