Bitter truth over Bangladesh land

In Bangladesh, poor people become the most vulnerable victim of land grab practice because they do not have enough capacity to submit a lawsuit, and do not have financial resource to proceed the case to the court. Land grab issue continues occurring in the country, and putting the country’s food security at risk. Farmers’ arable land, water bodies, canals, and rivers are being grabbed viciously by group of people.

First Inauguration of “Sambo Network Agricultural Cooperative” in Cambodia

Villages Based Farmer Associations which are members of Farmers Nature Net (FNN) District Network in Sambo district, Kratie province had their own initiative along with some technical support from secretariat team in mobilizing their members in to Agricultural Cooperative which is registered legally with Provincial Department of Agriculture Forestry and Fishery.

Eleven months ultimatum to resolve the problems of the poor. Ekta Parishad announced Delhi March for land reforms

“Central government should immediately take concrete steps to resolve the problems of the poor, and to bring land reforms. The Government needs to be ready to face the nationwide mass movement if otherwise. Under the leadership of prominent Gandhian Dr. S.N. Subbarao, mass movement on land reform will be initiated throughout the country on 2nd October 2018.” This announcement was made by Rajgopal P.V, the founder of Ekta Parishad during the National People's Parliament on land reforms at Phoolbagh Maidan, Gwalior.
