Youth representative, Hill Resource Center
Chandra Tripura is a young human rights activist and social entrepreneur from the Tripura Indigenous People of Chittagong Hill Tracts, Bangladesh. She is the Founder and Director of a social enterprise named Hill Resource Center, which is a multi-purpose initiative to contribute towards the promotion of indigenous culture and community development in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. On 26 March 2021, she was elected as the youth representative to the Executive Council of Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP), a regional organization by the Indigenous Peoples' movement to promote and defend Indigenous Peoples' rights in Asia. She is leading an Indigenous youth-led homecoming movement “Back to the Roots” in Bangladesh.
