Consultant - Impact, Regionalisation and Learning team
Serena Gentile joined the International Land Coalition in October 2025 as a Consultant in the Impact, Regionalisation and Learning team, after completing an internship within the same unit.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Global Governance from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, a Master’s degree in Development and International Cooperation Sciences from “La Sapienza” University of Rome, and an Executive Master in Leadership for International Relations from Fondazione Italia USA.
Before joining ILC, she gained experience at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) as well as at the Italian Parliament, supporting international relations and multilateral coordination, and served as Youth Representative at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
Passionate about gender equality, land rights, and sustainability, Serena is committed to advancing participatory and bottom-up approaches that empower communities to be the true voice of change.
