what we do
Offering ILC members and other land actors a series of online trainings on land and natural resource governance.
In partnership with AGTER, building on their experience and capacity, with the technical support of CERAI, this learning facility consists of a series of e-learning courses in French, Spanish and English.
These trainings aim to equip members with the tools, case studies and theoretical frameworks they need to understand the issues at stake and engage in well-informed discussions on strategies and solutions.
Each course encourages participants to share specific examples from around the world, collectively identify common elements and draw the attention on the wide variety of local responses.

Trainings are open to all ILC members, encouraging in particular the participation of members actively involved in NES and CBI. The call is also open to participants from outside the network.

Each course lasts 4 weeks, and is completed online through an interactive Moodle platform. The platform provides participants with readings corresponding to each thematic module and offers a variety of different spaces designed to encourage interaction and familiarize participants with contents and tools.
Participants should expect to spend roughly 10 hours per week reading the documents, completing the exercises, and participating in weekly forums. Apart from the discussion forums, coursework can be completed at any time, making the course compatible with a variety of professional schedules.
Participants are also encouraged to work on case studies or briefing notes that could later be published through ILC and AGTER’s channels.
