Women's land rights lead
Valentine Sébile has 17 years' experience working in the field of human rights, with a particular focus on human rights defenders and women's rights. She has worked for a number of international organisations, including Amnesty International, the International Organisation of la Francophonie, as advisor to the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights Defenders, ESCR-Net, and most recently with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Mexico. She holds a master's degree in gender studies and a bachelor's degree in comparative politics in Latin America and the Caribbean.
