Overview
Responses to the climate and environmental crises are urgent, but they also open up contested spaces around who has a voice over land governance and whose narratives are recognised.
Drawing on regional cases from ILC cross-regional analysis of the theme, this regional webinar will explore pressures on communities from green industrial investment, customary protection of ecosystems under climate change, and people-centred approaches to pasture restoration, and a gender focus on the analysis of climate-induced land conflict.
