Mission
Mzimba Youth Organisation aims at contributing to the education of the Child, young people, women empowerment and Gender equality through a value system based, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society
Objectives
1. To protect the rights of the youth and women so that they become productive citizen of their societies.
2. To advoccate for affordable, acceptable and available sexual Reproductive Health ser-vices
3. To promote trasparenct and accountability in the management of local revenues by the duty bearers in Malawi
4. To provide capacity building through training and professional opportunities to youth and women professionals in agriculture and natural resource management sectors to be-come effective “change agents” for gender equality.
5. To promote rule of law in Malawi
6. To advocate for the inclusion of women in the land reform process through the Kili-manjaro initiative
7. To create mediums for women’s and youth voices to be heard within district, National and international agencies and global processes concerned with food security, natural resource management, and climate change.
8. To strengthening co-ordination and collaboration of member organisations engaged in land and natural resources management through networking and dissemination of in-formation.
9. To advocate for the adoption and implementation of pro-poor and equitable land and natural resources policies, legislation, and decision-making processes that enhance sus-tainable livelihoods and utilization of land and natural resources including inclussive decision making.
