Lanz is a passionate campaigner and policy and advocacy specialist who worked with national and regional coalitions of civil society organizations, most prominently people’s organizations. He has contributed to advancing the interests of local communities in key rural development legislation in the Philippines and UN processes like the UN Decade of Family Farming. Lanz holds master’s degrees in Environment, Development and Peace, and Transdisciplinary Social Development from the University of Peace in Costa Rica and Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.
Lanz joined ILC in 2023, managing ILC’s activities in youth, family farming, ecosystem restoration and data.
