Join ILC in welcoming Marcy!

We are thrilled to announce that following a comprehensive recruitment process, Marcy Vigoda, a Canadian national, has been appointed as the new Director of the International Land Coalition effective 1 May 2025.
The process was led by a Task Force made up of four ILC council members and four peoples organisation representatives, one from each region.
Marcy brings more than 30 years of experience in international development, humanitarian action, partnerships, external relations, resource mobilisation, gender equality, organisational development and governance to the leadership of the International Land Coalition.
She is joining us from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) where she held a number of senior roles including Chief of Partnerships and Resource Mobilisation, Head of Office and Senior Humanitarian Adviser. Marcy also recently served as Director of the Scaling Up Nutrition Movement Secretariat, hosted by the UN Office of Project Services.
To ensure a smooth transition, our current Director, Michael Taylor, will remain in his role until June 30, 2025. The official handover will take place at the Global Land Forum in Colombia.
