What connects land, movement, and peoples?
ABOUT THE EVENT
Pastoralism is one of the world’s most complex systems of knowledge, movement and care for land. It connects landscapes across distance, sustains livelihoods in changing climates and carries deep cultural and social meaning. As pastoralist voices share their experiences, a living tapestry will be woven in real time through history, visions, ideas and collective presence, making visible the relationships that hold landscapes in motion.
This space invites reflection on movement, land rights, gender, governance and care, and what becomes possible when pastoralism is understood not as a way of life on the margins, but as a system that sustains both land and people.
