Women 4 Women is back!
Are you ready to learn, grow, and share experiences within a vibrant, women-only in-house mentoring and solidarity network?
Women 4 Women (W4W) is open to any woman who works or volunteers for an ILC member organization. The programme creates a safe and dynamic space for collective learning, mutual support, and leadership development across the ILC network.
To ensure inclusivity and representation, the programme guarantees:
- 35% participation of young women (under 35 years old)
- 15% participation of pastoralist women, in celebration of the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralism
WHY THE PROGRAMME MATTERS
Since its launch in 2019, the Women 4 Women mentoring and solidarity network has completed six cycles, engaging an average of 30 women per cycle, for a total of approximately 150 participants. The network brings together mentors and mentees at different stages of their journeys, using diverse tools and formats to foster mutual growth, reciprocal support, and collective empowerment.
In 2023, a KeyStone external assessment highlighted that Gender Justice is one of the top priorities for ILC members. It also confirmed that the Gender Justice Cross-cutting Pledge and Action Plan are among ILC’s most successful areas of intervention. Learning emerged as a core objective of ILC’s work, alongside advocacy, solidarity, and partnership-building.
Building on these findings—and inspired by the successful outcomes of the ILC Fellowship Programme—ILC has undertaken a revision and renewal of the Women 4 Women initiative to further strengthen its mentoring and solidarity dimensions.
JOIN THE 2026 CYCLE
In 2026, Women 4 Women will be relaunched with a renewed structure and approach.
The programme will feature enhanced dynamics, deeper thematic discussions, and stronger interaction at both regional and global levels. These changes directly reflect members’ interests, evolving membership dynamics, and identified needs.
Join us in shaping the next chapter of Women 4 Women—where learning, solidarity, and collective leadership continue to grow.
